Corn Fritters: Recipe

I was super hungry this evening and when you are suuuper hungry you do not have the patience to make something elaborate. A quick raid of the fridge and I had some basic ingredients to make some yummy corn fritters! :)
Here's the recipe for you guys!

Corn Fritters recipe


Ingredients:

  • Fresh bread crumbs -2 slices (put fresh bread pieces in the mixer and grind till it is a coarse powder)
  • Minced green chilli (according to your preference)
  • Minced ginger
  • Grated processed cheese (again you can put as much or as little you like)
  • Mashed boiled potato- 2 
  • Chopped corainder
  • Minced corn kernels (fresh from the cob or the frozen one. I used the fresh one since it is in season)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

After you have assembled all the ingredients, mix everything together. Add some salt and pepper to taste. (I also added a pinch of chaat masala powder for that little bit of tang).  Shape the mixture into small cutlets (or rounds if you like it that way).

Deep fry them until golden brown. Blot the excess oil. And Enjoy!!! Wasn't that super fast? :)

(Update: I did try using boiled corn in this, and it tasted better! So you can do that too)
