Lakme Color Crush Nail Enamel no. 26 (French Base) : Review
Written by: Swati on:
Today I am sharing with you all one of my favourite nail paints...ever! I have been a fan of the French manicure since ages! Have always loved the way those white tips look - classy, sophisticated and expensive well maintained nails. Don't you think so too? So whenever I had vacations back in school, I would grow my nails super fast and flaunt french tips :) Although back then, it was just a white polish and a clear top coat...
Until, Lakme came out with their Color Crush collection and I happened to come across shade no. 26 French Base. Can you inagine how delighted I was?! *happy happy dance* ( insert the old vodafone zoozoo ad music...hey I like it).
Anyway, coming to the polish - the Color Crush have been in the market for a while now and they have some really good shades.
The packaging is similar as the true wear nail paints except for the shiny silver cap (which keeps coming off somehow.. is it only me who faces this problem?)
The brush is a little thin so it will take around 3 strokes to fill up the nail but the quality of the brush is good enough. I can make the brush work but it would have been so much easier if it was wider.
The polish gives your nails just a hint of the palest milky pink colour and brings the whole manicure together. Also the white tips do not look that stark anymore. And an additional layer is always a bonus... you mani lasts longer (around 5 days with some minor fading at the tips).

I find this nail paint a must everytime I do the french manicure now. Compared to the other ones available I do think this is better (I know VOV has a kit but I have not tried that yet and I have seen the Bourjois kit and that is expensive!)
Price: 150/- for 9ml
Will definitely repurchase this one! And I am so recommending it to all the french manicure lovers out there :)
So, what do you think? How does it look?
