If the approaching weekend isn't giving you enough reason to be happy, ladies, I bring you another!
Presenting the newest launch by our dear Maybelline, the Cheeky Glow blushes, all reviewed together!
See what I did there, the rhyming part? Am I not awesome (and a dork)? :D
Okay, you all know these little babies, so I won't spend time introducing them. Let's get straight to the review. I've tried to cover every aspect to bring you a comprehensive review :)
Cheeky Glow blushes are right now the most affordable blushes in the market which also have good quality. I'm very happy with their formulation. Even though they come in a compressed powder form, the formula has an almost creamy feel. It's quite soft and smooth and not overly powdery. The pigmentation too will really surprise you, it's quite good for a budget product! They are well pigmented, and not the teeniest bit of chalkiness! You won't need more than two light swipes for a natural look. Blending is easy and you get almost an instantaneous flush on your cheeks.
Another plus point of the CG blushes is the packaging. It's highly compact for the 7g of product it carries. The transparent lid helps to easily locate the shade you're looking for. Overall, with the white case, and the popping shades peeking through the lid, I find it rather cute!
The staying power is good. I got a decent 4-5 hours even without primer underneath, after which it faded but did not go patchy.
Fresh Coral - This is a bright shade of warm pinkish coral which lifts up your mood. When applied and blended it translates as a beautiful flush and looks very healthy! I like that the pink hue doesn't clash with our Indian skin tone. The coral in it makes this shade very flattering. This is the only matte shade out of the three and the most pigmented.
Peachy Sweety- This is cooler than Fresh Coral. The shade is a pretty pink peach, not as bright as Fresh Coral and will hence give you a more natural flush of colour. In my opinion, Peachy Sweetie is not very suited to dusky complexion but if you like the shade, definitely go and try it out. You never know, it may work for you! (And if it does, do come back and let us know). Peachy Sweetie contains micro shimmer which gives a nice sheen to the cheeks and is not obvious. You can see Swati wearing this here after about 4 hours of wear.

Creamy Cinnamon - Earthy brown with slight hints of peach. It's very versatile and will suit a range of skin tones. I use this shade the most because it goes with practically everything! Creamy cinnamon is the most natural looking out of all three and applies a little sheer. Dusky beauties will need to layer this on. In my opinion, blush beginners should totally get this as there is very little chances of going wrong with it. Creamy cinnamon compliments Indian skin tone very well, and can be a staple for college goers. Again, it contains micro shimmer which isn't obvious except in flash photography.
