Lakme 9-to-5 Lip Liner Brick Rose : Review

Today, we are sharing one of the most amazing lip liner we have come across - The Lakme 9-to-5 liner in Brick Rose. You probably know that we loved their lipsticks too (you can check out most of the shades swatched here. Toffee Nexus and Coffee Command are a personal favourite). Now we were planning to get more shades, but then they came out with these liners and we had to try them! In one sentence "you have to try these!".
What Lakme says about the product :
The Lakme Nine to Five Lip Liner gives you definition with a long lasting formula which sits on your lips through your day at work with no touch-ups. The liners come in a wooden pencil similar rose gold shade as the lipsticks, with a coloured end showing the shade and a transparent plastic cap.
These have amazing texture. Just swatch them once at the counter if you haven't already. Seriously! (we couldn't stop from picking 2).
They are creamy and so smooth and give you great pigmentation, pigmented lips need not worry, you will get full coverage with these. They glide so easily on the lips, no tugging at all. And they sharpen easily (yes there is product wastage with these type of pencils.. and it makes me kinda sad..I mean this is so good..I do not feel like wasting even a bit :P).
These last long (around 4-5 hours on me) and give you a nice satin matte finish (which I love). Plus, since they do not feel/look too dry, and I have been wearing this on its own too with just some clear gloss/lip balm. It looks lovely.
Coming to the shade, Brick Rose is a warm peachy brown shade that looks very natural. It would go very well with our Indian skin tones. It easily blends in with most lip shades (except of course your bright reds and pinks), and would be so office appropriate too for a polished look.

It could be called a bit pricey, but if it suits your budget then you must check the range out. They are creamy and smooth with great pigmentation. And Brick Rose is a colour that we highly recommend!
