L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Color in Faye : Review
Written by: Swati on:
If you have been following our blog, then you will probably know how much I am in love with the L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse range. My rave post about Bella is proof enough for how much I adore it.
Obviously, I had to pick up another colour. And last month I brought Faye with me back home!
Not to go much into the story, here is why I got this... Me, looking for a wearable orange colour for a long time. My bff got this shade by mistake instead of Bella (she forgot the name :P). I tried it out..loved it...bought it too :D
The packaging like I mentioned earlier too, looks absolutely gorgeous! The applicator is fantastic too and picks up the right amount of product needed for one application.
I do advise again to try out these colours once at the counter since they show up a bit different on everyone.
Texture is very light thin and water like. They are hydrating though inspite of being so light. And they do not transfer.
I will not take up much time talking about these aspects again though. They are already explained in detail HERE in my previous post.
Coming to Faye (804), it is a pretty warm orange colour. I like the fact that it isn't too bright/bold like the L'Oreal Moist Mat in Orange Power. I was on the lookout of a wearable orange shade for my skin tone (around NC 40) for a long time now, and my search has ended for now with Faye. It does get a bit darker after 5 mintues of application (so wait a bit before you apply a 2nd coat..you just might not need it). It is one of the pigmented shades from this range.
It lasts around 6-7 hours easily with moderate munching (the wet shine fades over time leaving behind a stain).
Here is the LOTD girls (all in natural light but at different times of the day, hence the slight colour difference) :
I am super impressed with the formula and this shade as well. I have worn it almost everywhere since I have bought it. It looks wonderful and I have finished half the tube in a month already :D
If you are looking for a long lasting wearbale orange colour, you must try out this once :)
Are you a fan of the Shine Caresse Lip Colours too? What are your favourite shades?
