Off late I have finally accepted putting a bit of foundation occasionally. Now, for a while my fingers worked well, but the makeup lover in me wanted some fancy brushes too ;) And Real Techniques was the first one that I wanted to try out! So, after some research, the Expert face Brush came home to me and made me one happy girl! :)
Real Techniques brushes are one of the best and affordably priced ones. And believe me...they will leave you super impressed!
The Expert Face Brush is sold seperate from the main collections kit and is a great brush for foundation. Its short and dense bristles make it perfect for that as it helps to pick up a bit more foundation and help create a flawless, high-definition finish.
It is a bit more chubby than than the traditional foundation brush yet not perfectly round like the buffing brush. The slightly flattened ends give it a slight elliptical shape, which makes this brush fit into the facial contours and blends well.
The brush is easy to clean, does not shed or lose its shape and since the bristles are synthetic, they dry fast enough.
For a while now, I have been using this with the Ponds BB cream and I am loving the finish and smooth effect the combo gives. I just dot the BB cream over my face and the brush blends and buffs it in effortlessly. Absolute love!
These brushes are a bit tough to get hold of in India, but now you can find real Techniques brushes easily on Amazon, Nykaa and Luxola.
I've really been enjoying using this brush, every time I've used this brush to apply my foundation I've been really happy with the results its given, I'm so impressed with it. This has literally changed the way I looked at foundations :D
If you are a beginner looking for a good face brush, or just looking for a face brush to add to your kit, you have to check the Expert Face Brush out. It definitely is a must have!
