Yeah, I know this one has been around since years and I might probably be the last person to review it! Nevertheless, it is fairly new to me so take a look :)

Colorbar Radiant Glow Highlighter Pen review

You see, I love a good highlighter. Not the shimmer disco ball kinds of course just those that give a beautiful dewy glow. Now who doesn't like that?! Give me the glow and I am super happy!

So, I used the Revlon Skinlights (liquid) previously and then got theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer both of which are exactly the kinds I love. The Revlon one being more subtle out of the two. And then it got super old and it was time to replace it. After some thought, I zeroed in on the Colorbar Radiant Glow Pen.

This one comes in a clicky pen which frankly is super annoying! I need to click it quite a few times, after which a lot more product than what is required gets dispensed. So much wastage I tell you! :(
The packaging is sleek though and travel friendly. You won't know when the product is about to get over with the opaque packaging.

The highligher itself is a gorgeous champagne gold color. It is sheeny and glowy. No glitter or shimmer at all.
It isn't creamy. More like a light super light lotion with a runny consistency and does not feel thick or heavy. Which makes it quite a good option for even oily skins. It sets pretty quickly so any blending needs to be done quickly else it will look patchy!  I ususally dab it on and blend with my finger tips, but you could use a small brush too. It lasts quite long, 6-7 hours on me.

This wasn't like Skinlights at all and the first few months I really was unable to use it. It just ended up looking a bit funny. But now I know what to do with it. So, I apply this before putting on my BB cream/tinted moisturizer (I am not too much into heavy duty foundations yet) and it gives a beautiful lit-from-within kind of glow!
Then if I want some extra pizzazz, I top it off with the Mary-Lou Manizer! Hello Gorgoeus Glow!

Ofcourse, you can use it like a normal highlighter too, this is just the way I like using it :)

The downside is the pen packaging...it is truly a hassle to use it! I wish it came in a squeezy tube or like those concealer tubes, with an applicator tip. The product also dries up and clogs the brush. Can you consider changing the packaging Colorbar?

Price : 525 INR for 2.2ml

This is one of the few good liquid highlighters available in the market which would look good on almost all skintones, and if you can get past the clicky pen, you might like this one. I am not going to repurchase it though, I cannot deal with sooo many clicks! Might just go back to the Revlon Skinlights after this gets over.
