If you are a fan of Baby Lips then you would probably be aware of the new range "Candy Wow" by
now, and might have already bought it :P If not, well, this is why the post is up :)
First of all, let us all take a few seconds to just admire the packaging. It looks super cute doesn't it?! Bright retractable chubby sticks, rounded tips...I think this is probably why most of us will be tempted to get them.
However, there is a downside of the stick : You can't slip them in your trouser pocket...if you are a jeans and no handbag kinda girl. Even so, I think I willing to make this sacrifice just coz the thing looks so darn cute!
Staying power is 2-3 hours and even after wearing off, it doesn't dry out the lips. I have the shade Orange from the range and it's a warm toned orange. The shade will suit most skin tones and does not look too over the top. Pigmentation is good (In the pic below, I have swatched it 3 times for that color intensity). It will probably not cover too pigmented lips well, but it is a tinted lipbalm afterall.
It works perfectly for college and everyday wear :)
Now, the biggest downside? Cost. These are priced higher than all the other ranges of Baby Lips and even so, you get only 2g of the product which is half of what the other ranges have.
Also, these do not have any SPF (if you are particular about that).
Price : 275 INR for 2g
Go for it if you like the cuter chubby stick packaging or if you are just a fan of Baby Lips in general and want to add it to your stash. However, it is not one of those products that you absolutely need to get, I can assure you that the other ranges of Baby Lips are just as good :)
We have reviewed quite a few and you can take a look :
Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop in Pink Shock (It is one of my favourites)
Maybelline Baby Lips Berry Crush
Maybelline Baby Lips Rose Addict
