It's like a jackpot post this evening! We bring you 7 Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams swatched in one place. Quite a few months back I had gone to pick just one to test out, but I came back with 7! *don't judge me* We all like a good matte lip don't we? You have to see the pretty colors in this range to understand why I couldn't pick just one :D
I don't have so many colors from one range before, which is clear enough as to how much I love them! Now, some of you might be aware of these gems (supposed to be dupes of the NYX Soft matte Lip Creams), though if you aren't here is your chance to know about them and go grab them asap!
Before I start raving about these, I will point the only drawback I find with these. No shade names! But I guess I can live with that given how incredibly amazing these are overall.
The lip creams come housed in a trasparent plastic tube with a screw on cap. The colored tubes helps you to identify the color easily. Applicator is a regular doe foot one, picks up enough product for one application (I feel the need to pick up some more with certain shades) and spreads the product evenly.
They are very convenient to carry around and travel with. No spilling, no breakage.
Since these lip creams are so pigmented, I do have to be extra careful to get a precise application. These cannot be applied with your eyes closed, on the run...you need to take some time.
Pigmentation is amazing, one swipe is all you need for most, to get a good pop of color. You can go over with a 2nd layer to get more opaque color. You would never need more than 2 swipes for sure.
The texture is like a super light cream which settles down to a beautiful matte finish in about 5 minutes after application. They feel very comfortable to wear (most times I even forget that I have them on). These do not dry out the lips, I moisturize my lips a few minutes before and I can easily go without a lip balm for more than half a day.
These are non transferable and stay on for over 7-8 hours (including meals and drinks). Sometimes I need a light touchup, depending on what I ate, but that's a rare occasion.
Enough with the blabber, I know all you want to do is just see the swatches. :D
I have 7 shades (no 07 was added a little later) Here you go,
No 10 - A classic, slightly deep red. Will suit most skintones. One of my favourties!
No. 07 - A bright fuschia pink. Would suit most skin tones again. You won't be able to wear this one everyday, but for the times you want to look a little glam, you can trust this one.
No 12 - A fuschia pinky (magenta?) color. You can see that it is a darker, more wearable version of 07. Will look great on medium to dark skin tones. Another favourite!
No 08 - A medium coral pink. Again, it would suit most skintones well. Can be worn as an everyday color as well, if sheered out slightly.
No 11 - A neonish pink. Though I don't reach out for this color a lot, I love wearing it in the summer months.
No 16A - A medium peachy coral pink color. Smiliar to no 05, but slightly darker. One of my favourites again!
No 05 - A light peachy coral. Quite similar to 16A (I would suggest getting only one of these two). Looks great as an everyday color too. Will suit fair-medium skintones. Can make darker skintones look washed out.
And here are all together (open the image in a separate tab to see it in full size) :
Price : 195 INR (sometimes you can find it cheaper too, depending on where you get hold of them).
I love love them! (if you have't got it already). For 195/- it is a steal. I would recommend you to get 10, 12 and 08 definitely as most skintones will be able to pull them off nicely. Or go get them all like me :D ;) ;P You can't go wrong with a nice matte lip!
Just grab them, if you ever see them ok? I'll accept the thank you later! :)
Have you tried the Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams already? Which color did you like the most?
