Around 6 months back, my skin was experiencing a very severe attack of acne. Alhough that has come down a lot now, I am still battling with scars, but that is a story for another time.
Desperate attempts to bring the acne under control led me to the Vichy counter. I remember wanting to buy the night cream version, but it was out of stock. I got the Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care instead.
(If you would ask me off-chance on any regular day, I wouldn't even remember the name...some Vichy anti imperfection cream I would say. I'm bad with names!).
The cream comes in a sleek white squeezy tube with a screw on cap. It is leak proof and completely travel friendly. The precise nozzle helps dispensing the product well, minimizing wastage to a huge extent.
It has a very mild fragrance, which is quite pleasant but does not last long. Texture wise, the product was beautiful to use, being a light cream-gel that blends easily and sinks into the skin with minimal strokes.
Sadly, those are all the plus-points for me. I used it for a nearly a month and it did not help in preventing breakouts, neither did it clear the existing acne, nor did it miraculously shrink my pores. My blemishes remained as bad as they were, and new ones kept erupting every other day!
All it helped was in keeping the skin hydrated. I was very much disappointed with this purchase.
Price : 750 INR for 30ml
I don't think this one is worth buying. I know they have a Tri-Active Anti Imperfection (I am not sure if it is the same thing or not, but it has better reviews). I have read many good reviews for the Night cream version also (which is probably what I should have stuck with as well, instead of listening to the SA!) *bangs head against the wall*
You can absolutely skip this one.
