A while back when I was contacted by a brand called LuxaDerma about trying out their Foot Peeling & Exfoliating Mask, I went like Foot Peeling whaaaaaaaaaaat???? I just couldn't wrap my head around a foot peeling mask and for the first few days I was quite skeptical about trying it out. I was pleasantly surprised when I did try it out though.
I do like getting a professional pedicure done...I like it a lot actually, but I do not have the time to get one done that often, which is when masks like these come extremely handy.
The socks provided are quite big enough, I didn't get quite a snug fit (small feet woes) but I did manage to wrap it tightly around and stick the tab in place. I wore additional socks over it, to prevent it from loosening. I wore these for around 100 minutes, by when I started to feel some tingling and took them off. While washing my feet with cold water afterwards, I did notice some thicker skin peeling off.
For the first few days I saw nothing happening, and I actually thought that this one wouldn't work. But around day 12 the skin finally started to peel everywhere around (I was quite a gross sight, I wouldn't lie). Even with scrubbing it off, I kept my feet covered while going out. Anyway, so after about 15-17 days, the entire peeling process was over and my feet looked quite good!
The entire process took quite some time for me, so please make sure you don't have any big events scheduled around the same time.
Price : 850 INR
It sure was fun using this one. I had never tried anything like it before. The end results were quite satisfactory too, better than what I had expected it to be. I am unsure if I would use it again though. The whole waiting game is not something I can do, I much prefer soaking my feet in warm water and getting results then and there. But, the Foot Peeling mask is surely worth a try.
What do you think? Would you like to give one of these a shot? Let me know in the comments below
