A while back I shared a post on Festive Makeup Essentials, and the Lakme Tanjore Rush palette was I think one of the stars of that post. Since, the festive/wedding season is still on, here are the swatches of the palette (since many of you wanted to see that) and you still have some time to go get it, if you haven't already! :D
This one has been around in the market for a long time and it was forever on my wishlist. I finally gave in and bought it this year and I love it!
It's a basic rectangular case, small enough to be travelled with easily and it comes with a dual ended sponge tip applicator.
The shadows themselves are incredibly rich, soft, smooth and super pigmented! All the 4 shades! Normally, I am not fond of the sponge applicators, but for these pigmented shadows, they work well. Alternatively, you can pack on the pigment with finger tips.
There was hardly any fallout, they blend well and stay on long (6-7 hours). A primer/eyeshadow base will surely increase the wear time.
Tanjore Rush has:
A gold (yellow toned)
An olive green
A jewel toned purple
All the 4 shades look gorgeous on Indian skin tones. They won't work with each other, so I suggest using them with other neutral colors (a matte brown for definition, a soft brown for blending etc.) or just as a single wash of color on the lids, which is what the lazy girl in me does anyway :D
Price : 600 INR for 7g (can be found on discount online usually).
If you are looking for an affordable festive palette, this one is highly recommended! Do give this a look sometime, it will be incredibly difficult for anyone not to like this one!
