What firstly got us quite excited about the whole event was certainly the treasure hunt. Never before had I been to an event like this. Moreover, the venue, Jayamahal Palace, was so picturesque. The grounds a perfect representation of the whole forest theme.
The event started with the founders giving us a brief about the brand, what it represents and how they drew inspiration for their current designs from the forests of Uttarakhand.
This was followed by the much awaited treasure hunt. You can see me stydying the map we were given super seriously. :D
It took our team a while to crack the 1st and 2nd clue took. But once we got into the flow, there was no looking behind. We ran around all over the grounds looking for the answers to the clues (some of which were quite difficult!). Before we knew it we were the Runners Up in the hunt! Kudos to the amazing team members we had!
The hunt was followed by the launch of Aranyani and their website. And some lovely music by the band Mystik Vibes.
We couldn't wait to check their collection, of course. Take a look!
I absolutely fell in love with this gorgoeus backpack. Have added it to my wishlist already! Another love was a cosmetic pouch, which had ample space to house all your products while on the move.
The opposite gender, need not be disappointed and quite a few of their designs are unisex and look equally good on men :)
We quite liked the collection overall. The prints and colors were well thought of. There are bags in the collection which are unisex and Ashish, our men's blogger, loved a few pieces as well. Though the brand is not eco-frinedly, we liked that their designs were inspired by the forests. The solid product colour combinations are taken from nature’s combination of colours in varied flora and fauna, which clearly created some lovely pieces. From what were were told at the event, I concluded the brand wants to create a trend of bright colours and prints. We are waiting to see more collections from Aranyani.
