I know this is going up a bit later than usual, but I took a mini break and went back home... and well, basically went into hibernation. :D
But nevertheless, here are my December Favourites!
As far as skincare goes, I am still using and absolutely loving my usual favourites (Lacto calamine, Kiehls Dark Spot Solution, Clarins Lotus Treatment Oil, Kiehls MRC, Serozinc etc... have spoken about them previously). The 2 new things that have been incorporated into my stash however are - Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (full thoughts here) and the Matra Lip Balm, Strawberry (mini review here). The mask is just what I need for some deep cleansing and leaves my skin feeling super clean and soft. The lip balm was a definite saviour. I had been battling some allergies (still figuring out from which lip product) for a while now and nothing helped but this! Super impressed! I think it will be a part of my permanent lip balm collection always!
December was definitely a month of mattes. I loved (and still loving) the Nykaa So Matte Lipstick in Taupe Thrill (swatched here) and their Matte Nail Lacquers (Smores Milkshake, Pink Meringue and Almond Crumble especially).
I also reached out for the Burberry eyeshadow in Almond way too much. It just works beautifully as an all over the lid wash, or even for some subtle definition in the crease area. Dedicated post coming soon.
When I wasn't wearing Taupe Thrill, I reached out for the NYX Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake (reviewed here). Yes, December was all about the neutrals for me, surprisingly.
Now, I don't have anything in particular here, Since I spent a good 15 days at home, I basically loved mom's "ghar ka khana" (people living in hostels would know what I am talking about!). But one thing I had a lot, even while at home was coffee! Cold winter days need hot cups of coffee. I took the 3 variants Beanstalk and Leaves has to offer (read more about them here) home and loved brewing them, especially for dad, whose favourite was the Velvet Dew :)
I definitely recommend you to try their coffee! (available on Amazon too)
Got 2 lovely watches from Titan as a birthday gift from mum and dad (super sweet folks!) This tan strap one with a chrome dial is defintely a favourite. I like the old school look it has. I also picked up this lovely notepad from Sapna Book House, isn't it cute? Do you have a weakness ofr stationery as well?
What were your favourites last month?
