The Syle Edit, Vol 1 : My Current Favourite Pieces

Written by: Swati on:

Hello all!
After being a bit absent all July, I am finally done with exams and now can truly focus on the blog (which is all I have ever wanted to do ever since this baby started). I am brainstorming on newer posts and hopefully you will see a lot more content henceforth!

On that note, here's introducing "Style Edit" where I will be talking about my recent fashion favourites...you know the stuff I keep reaching out too most over the past weeks, the things in my closet that have been getting lots of love lately (old or new)
I hope it inspires you all and that you like this new series!  😄

1) Denim Bomber Jacket
After a lot of looking around for a bomber jacket, I found this one by The Bleu Label and it is perfect! The classic light blue wash goes with everything and the white floral embroidery just adds that extra something something! I have been looking out for excuses to wear it everytime! Head over to our Instragram page to see how I styled it.

2) The Little Black Bag
Found this beauty at H&M last month, I reckon it is still in stock (in case you want to pick it up).
It is small but has enough room to carry your phone, keys and wallet...I can sometimes even manage to put in my battery pack and a lipstick! Perfect little sling when you do not want to carry your whole around in your bag. Plus it is black and goes with everything!

3) Leopard Print Shoes
I was a bit hesitant to get these, but I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone lately and this seemed a good start.
They add a little extra to my otherwise plain monochrome outfits and even though they are leopard print they can be classified as fairly neutral. This pair is from Steve Madden and I bought them at a good discount on Jabong (find them here). I am now loving leopard print so much that I want to add a pair of sliders and a heel in them as well!

4) Shakti Bracelet
Found this on Parvati Villa. They have many variants but I went for the classic gold chain one (minimalistic me!). As they say "Shakti is the divine feminine. The creative force that breathes beauty into life. The inner power that all women embody."  I have been wearing this almost everywhere and loved it so much that I ordered one for Smriti too! :D
