If you love beauty, you must be aware of Violette and her debut collection with Estee Lauder-Poppy Sauvage!
We love Violette (a french makeup artist) for her classic Parisian style and easy tutorials. Her sophisticated but effortless style to beauty and makeup is exactly what we like. We love the way she experiments with makeup looks - touch of glitter, bold lip, dark eyes...everything is covered. But in a lovely wearable way! Always some "Va-Va-Voom" like she says! It is no wonder that her collection was right up our street!
The Pure Color Envy Paint On Liquid Lipcolor in Poppy Sauvage is the heart of the entire collection and very much my favourite product from the entire range.
The formula of this is honestly one of the best in all the liquid lipsticks I have ever tried.
It glides on smoothly (smoother than anything!), is insanely pigmented and provides a lovely cushion-y feel. It doesn't feel drying at all (I have worn it for 7+ hours easily without feeling uncomfortable....with a mild touch up ).
The formula is not completely transfer proof (it transfers a bit) but the color is so pigmented that it does not fade from the lips easily.
It takes a minute or so to dry completely, giving you enough time to fix any mistakes (which with such a pigmented bright color is quite easy to make).
Poppy Sauvage is a vibrant classic red. It is bright, it is rich and can easily
be the new must have red in your collection.
I have tested it out on a fair variety of skin tones, and it looks good on everyone!
Let's just say that this one will brighten up the dullest of the days and give you that classic Parisian chic look in just a swipe!
