What else can I say about Poppy Sauvage? I have raved about it in my last 2 posts and every product from this collection is just gorgeous!

I took a poll on Instgram asking you what you would like to see next? And most of you voted for the lipstick, so here it is! Take a look at Vin Noir!
The packaging as you can see is just so lovely! Sleek deep navy with the Poppy Sauvage illustration on the cap and a magnetic closure mechanism. The overall look and feel of the bullet is just so luxe!
The Poppy Sauvage collection has 2 Pure Color Envy Lipsticks - Poésie and Vin Noir.
Since I have plenty of everyday pinks in the stash at present I gave Poésie a pass (not that I am still not tempted to pick it up!) and decided to go with Vin Noir.
The lipstick gives a satin finish, is richly pigmented and glides on beautifully. It is also quite long lasting (around 5+ hours on me with mild snacking).
Violette suggests to apply this and then blur the edges for a classic French girl look!
I tried doing that and it looks absolutely lovely - like you have just been kissed! My new favourite way to apply lip products!
Vin Noir is a lovely bordeaux color. The color looks deeper and darker in the bullet but goes on lighter and more wearable.

I knew you would all want to see how it looks on me...so here you go!
The photos are taken in natural light and have not been edited.
This is exactly how I like wearing Vin Noir. Hint of a matte brown eyeshadow, eyeliner (sometimes with a wing!), lots of mascara and a bit of the lipstick itself used as a blush for just a bit of color on the face.
I also like dabbing it on to give a soft berry stain - which makes it more useful for everyday wear.

Yes, this isn't your regular afforable lipstick and I wish it was priced better (In fact I would have purchased backups of most products in the collection, if they were priced a bit less) but this isn't you regular lipstick now, is it?
It is Estee Lauder, it is limited edition, the formula is fabulous and it looks and feels luxe and the color is just so sexy!
So, if you can and are on the lookout for some luxury makeup/lipsticks to add to your stash, you should surely consider this one!
