Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi Electronic Foot File : Review & Effects

Today we have a wonderful product to share with you girls. In today's busy life, where everyone is pressed for time, Scholl, one of the leading footcare brands have come up with a fabulous product for us busy girls. Save the time and money on salon pedicures and make way for the "Scholl Velvet Express Pedi Electronic Foot File".

Now, we generally test a product for about 15 days before sharing our opinion about it, but I was so amazed with the results at the first go itself that I just had to share it asap!

“Get feet that look great and feel super smooth without any hassles. Velvet Smooth buffs away hard skin in minutes leaving you with fabulous feet that you’ll want to show off. It’s so easy to use. Gently rotate the file over hard skin and see the dead skin disappear. Once your feet are smooth and soft again, breathe a sigh of relief. 



The foot file is an electronic hand held device and it works on 4 AA batteries (The device comes with the batteries. That is a good thing).
The File feels quite light and sturdy and will be such a handy tool to take on your trips as well! It also comes with a protective cover for the roller head which makes it quite hygenic to store.
The roller head can be detached with the press of a button, making it very easy to clean.

The instructions to use the device is clearly mentioned on the packaging.



The actual process of using the file is super easy. Simply rotate the silver disc from 0 to 1 and show all your problematic areas some love! You can only use the file on dry skin, so make sure to place some towel/paper below to catch all the dead skin.


The coarse grained roller exfoliates so well and leaves behind super smooth heels. The whole process is very gentle and smooth. It did tingle when I used it for the first time, since I wan't used to the sensation, but now I don't feel anything at all :)

A few precautions to be kept in mind - Make sure not to run the roller over one area for more than 4-5 seconds and stop if the skin feels inflamed or sore. Also, the roller head stops spinning if you apply too much pressure, which in my opinion is a great safety feature.


Even though I wasn't very keen to put my photos of my heels up here (you see they have been a bit neglected for a few weeks now..blame exams), but nevertheless, here are the before and after pics for your reference.

This is only after 1 use of the file. I hope you will be able to see the difference it makes!



Post use, I apply the Scholl Foot and Nail Cream (which is an old favoutite of ours) and put a pair of cozy socks on. Wake up to super soft smooth feet next morning :)

I have used the file twice till now and I am amazed with the difference it has made. So, now that you have seen how effective this file is youself, I am sure you would agree that this product is worth checking out!
You might be hesitant about the price tag, but it works out cheaper in the long run I think. Do the math girls :) The roller head needs to be replaced (you get a pack of 2 for 899) after a certain time, yes, and so do the batteries, but the Scholl Express Pedi is such a perfect alternative for the expensive salon trips. Don't you think so too? I am totally in love!
