Colorbar Matte Nail Lacquer, Blackness : Review and NOTD

So few weeks back Shayoni from Sweet and Bitter Blog had recommended this one on her blog and after seeing her swatches, it was all I could think about :D

I searched for it everywhere, travelled far and wide, but alas! It was out of stock everywhere! I finally managed to get hold of it last week at the nearby mall. Phew! 

If you would have told me a few months back that I would someday be seen sporting a black nailpolish, I would have laughed in your face. And now, here I am, the proud owner of the Colorbar Blackness, and I cannot wait to wear it! 

It comes in the normal standard polish bottle with a flat brush. The newer bottles look a lot better and have an improved round tipped brush. 

The formula is smooth, but sheer and it takes 2-3 coats to reach an opaque color. (Wearing 2 coats in the photos below, with a clear polish on the tips). Staying power is a decent 3 days, with some wear at the edges. 

Coming to the color, which is what made me buy it. And the fact that it looked super beautiful on Shayoni's nails. It is the perfect dark black. No peeking undertones, just solid black. And it is matte which makes it so much more wearable! 

Price: 300 INR for 9ml (the new bottles are priced at 350 for 15 ml, if I am not wrong)

P.S. Colorbar is revamping its polish bottles. Have you seen the new packaging yet? Personally, I feel that they look pretty, but it is a bit bulky to store. What do you think?
