Revlon Nail Polish Tuscan Sun : Review

Written by: Smriti on:

I've been lusting after nail polishes a lot these days and the result of this is that I'm now on my way to building my own collection :) It feels so satisfying to see the multitude of hues encased in tiny glass bottles..ah! One such shade I'd like to share with you today is Tuscan Sun by Revlon. You may just pass this by without a second glance, but believe me ladies, this baby is worth your attention!

My camera couldn't capture the actual colour well, it looks much lighter and orangey-coral here. In reality, it looks like a cross between maroon and hints of brown. I think the best way to describe the shade would be a burnt maroon, or rich terracota.

Application is a dream, with the consistency of the polish being just right. It glides smoothly and evenly, taking two coats to bring out the warm beauty of the colour. The brush is thin and of medium density and compliments the polish consistency well. It dries to a glossy creme finish and wears well for about 4 days, but the glossiness does fade gradually. Drying takes a tiny bit longer, Color Crush nail polishes take much less to dry completely.

Overall, I quite like the shade and have been wearing it non-stop these days! It looks good on both your hands and your feet, plus it works well with a variety of Indian skin tones too. I've got swatches for you below :)
