Hello all!
How is Sunday going? It is so hot here! We are having heat waves in March! So I am spending most of my time indoors and keeping myself busy with finishing some cross-stitch (something I had to finish way back in school, but I never did :P)

Sorry for being horribly inconsistent with the posts lately. I told you a while back that I was travelling insanely and that still continues...*I am exhausted* Though it is fun too! I just came back after spending Holi with my grandparents and cousins. Ate a lot, slept a lot..and I am sure I have gained a couple of kilos :P But that's okay..you don't get to have so much fun everyday, right?

Moving on, this month I am hooked onto a bunch of different things. Take a look :

1) This tiny round glass vase and fresh flowers
The vase was an impluse buy (from Westside..they do have some good stuff!). It's just a plain round glass one, but it looks really cute and is perfect for putting just a few sprigs or flowers. Which brings me to flowers...It used to break my heart earlier cutting them from the garden but this season there were sooo many that a few stems were okay. Welcoming spring indoors :)

There was a period around 6 years ago when I first came to Bangalore and the hectic college life plus the weather water change combined with all the dust just added added more and more problems to my already oily acne prone skin. My face (the cheek area and forehead precisely) was home to numerous pimples and acne. They just kept showing up.

Well, I had to do something. Some basic home remedies were done - the usual sandalwood etc to soothe the skin, followed by covering my face with a scarf when I used to travel in autos, and then going to a dermatologist...I did everything to battle acne. With time and regular care the problem did get under control...and now my skin is a lot well behaved (*touchwood*).

I try and follow a regular skincare routine and there are a few trusted products that I stick to. Which brings me to todays review, Saslic DS Foaming Face Wash by Cipla, a gem I came across 2 years ago.

We are expected to to have smooth hair free skin right? All the time! (I do not want to get into this right now...believe me I can go on for a long time with this issue.. the pressures of being a woman! But let us just leave that for another day). Now, there are quite some options we have today to be all smooth and get rid of unwanted hair. And we all prefer something that works best for us. Which brings me to our review for today, the Gillete Venus Razor.

Today we are sharing one of the best eyeliner pencils we have tried so far...the Faces Longwear Eye pencil. I have been using Navy Blue for quite some time now and these pencils are just amazing.

You know how I always say that almost till two years back I was a only a nude brown lip person? I hated wearing any other colour and yes, no how much my friends said that pinks did not look bad on me, I never believed them. I was being quite stubborn. Thankfully, that's changed and now I am in love with pinks and corals and other colours too!

Anyway, Lakme Enrich Satin in 531 was my second lipstick. I had just statred getting into makeup and I was in the whole brown phase. Here's a short review :)

It's almost 3p.m. and I am just not sleepy! It's not like I do not want to..the cozy warm blanket is very inviting and I have been trying to put me off to sleep for the past one hour..but it is just not working! You know those days when you really want to sleep but your mind decides that "I will just not stop buzzing with random thoughts tonight. Haha!"

Now, I did not what to do to kill some time, so I did this :D You know how much I like Tribal Nail Art don't you? I have shared a couple of designs earlier.  I think such designs look so fun and generally people think that you must have spent a lot of time doing it, but actually it is a lot quicker.

Do you like tribal nail art?

When colorbar lauched these super cute looking makeup brushes I wanted to get them badly, but then I got mixed reviews about them and you know how that fills you with doubt? Over time, getting them slipped out of my mind until recently when I started experimenting with different eye looks and shadows (yes, earlier I stuck to one colour all over the lids.. simple and easy :D ). Which brings me to the review today, the Colorbar Smokin' Eyes Smudger Brush :)

If you have been following C&D for a while, you will probably know how much I love the Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm (available online here). So after going through tubes of the Pink Guava one (which is such a lovely lovely pink!) I tried the Strawberry variant.

Long ago I had reviewed a nail colour by EN-VY in Cotton Candy. I had mentioned back then that being a student and living in the hostel, I was always on the look out of affordable good qualilty products. Well, not being in the hostel anymore has not changed that. Most of us always look out for affordable stuff.
With nail colours one can never have too many colours. And when you want to have loaaads of colours you cannot possibly spend a lot on them (unless you earn like crazy.. hopefully I shall too someday :P).
If you are a frequent visitor at Health and Glow, chances are you have come across these EN-VY nail colours. Here's Ooh La La Red for you today. (And no! Do not start singing the ooh la la song!!)
