Skincare Haul!
Written by: Swati on:
I shared a makeup haul post recently and had promised you all to share the Skincare products I bought as well. And here it is!
I am a skincare junkie! Yes makeup love is always and will always be there...but when it comes to skincare, I might be becoming slightly obsessed! Ahem! I am sure it isn't a good thing especially for the people around me, but I think my skin should be realtively happy.
Anyway, take a look into what I got :
1) Kiehls Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence
This had been on my wishlist for a long time. I came by this via The Anna Edit who highly recommended this product. And since I love Kiehls as a brand and since their products have never disappointed me, I took a leap of faith & bought it (though I usually try a sample before buying a full sized version).
Will keep you guys updated!
2) Kiehls Micro Refining Micro Peel Concentrate
This I tried a sample of and loved it! So much so that I ordered it the very next day! It is a gem of a product. Will do an indepth review later.
Got one for my mom too who loves it too!

3) Kiehls Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
This is a repurchase. I was using it a couple of years back and loved it.
It had gotten over a few months back and I was missing it badly in my routine. Had to get it!
I haven't reviewed it yet... I know I know sorry...will do it soon! Promise.

I had been dying to try out The Ordinary products since ages! Finally gave in & bought a few things:
4) The Ordinary AHA+ BHA Peeling Solution
I have tried it 2-3 times already and like it quite a lot! It would not be very suitable very sensitive skins but if you are used to chemical peels then you will love this fabulous cocktail. Oh and the fact that it looks like blood is makes it more fun!
5) The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalane
After a lot of contemplation and research I decided to give retinol a try! Everyone knows about the wonders of retinol and I wanted to include one in my skincare regime.
*fingers crossed* Let's see how this works.
6) The Ordinary Caffiene Solution 5% + EGCG
I had been using the Kaya Eye serum previously. I loved it quite a bit. I would have repurchased it, but I wanted to try out something new. Have heard many good things about the Caffiene solution and got my hands on it! It is quite light and feels good to use so far. Update on this later.
My underarms are a bit of a problem area since years. The younger me was stupid enough to use depilatory creams for hair removal which has had it's adverse effects. I thought it was about time to do some TLC, so I picked up these 2 products from Dot & Key
7) Underarm Serum
Quite light to use. I am not very regular with it, even though it says to be. Will try to be more regular with it! Hope it helps!
8) Underarm Mask
It is like a charcoal clay mask, feels a bit minty and is quite fun to use (provided you are not around people). Have used it a few times and I am liking it so far.
UPDATE : FULL REVIEW OF THE UNDERARM MASK & SERUM HERE
That is all people! Have you used any of these products before?
Which do you want to be reviewed first?
xoxo,
Swati
