Makeup Haul

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! ☺
I hear you, I have done quite a good number of hauls recently! Don't make me feel too gulity now. But, what's a better way to start the new year than sharing a makeup haul?!
I did not get them all at once, no. Consider this an accumulation of many small purchases over the past few months of 2018.
Some of these products have made it into my "BEST PICKS OF 2018". I have shared that on Instagram Stories in case you are interested :)
It is a good mix of things. Take a look :
1) Nail Enamels
Nykaa Dusky Azalea - a mid tone rosy pink (I tried this from Smriti's stash & has to get one for me!)
L'oreal Color Riche A L'Huile Nail Paint in Rouge Sauvage, Carmin Parisian & Fuschia Palace
Kiko Smart Nail Lacquer in 27 Nude - A lovely everyday nude that does not look dull. Available here.
2) PAC Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow
To add some color to my otherwise neutral shadows I picked up
Ripples - A purple with a bit of blue in it
Infinity - A jewel toned blue
These shadows feel smooth and buttery and so pigmented! I cannot wait to play with these!
UPDATE : FULL REVIEW OF THE EYESHADOWS HERE
Among the zillion makeup brands we have today, Bobbi Brown has got to be one of my favourites. I love their products and the brands philosophy! And I have been wanting to try out their base products since ages! I took a trip to their store on Diwali and got myself a little gift! :D
3) Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation
Now I do not have much experience in the world of foundations, but this people is a dream! So convenient to carry around, so easy to apply, use can get the coverage you want - light or medium. And there are 31 shades to choose from! It claims to be water-sweat and humidity resistant and yes, it wears through the day beautifully.
I got the shade Natural Tan for now... Though Natural was working nicely too. Available here.
4) Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer
I already have their Creamy concealer kit already and quite like it. However off late I felt that the shade I had was a tad bit darker. So went for a lighter shade in Natural Tan (it's my exact undereye color) in the Instant Full Cover concealer formula. It's a thick liquid concealer. Good pigmentation and blends well.
A lighter shade (ie Natural) will be perfect for undereye brightening...and I might pick up that as well soon.
5) Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Corrector
The lady at the counter also suggested I try a corrector. I had not used any corrector before, but it sure does make a difference!
I love how light this feels! I like that it is hydrating (thanks to the serum in it). I do not use it everyday/everytime I wear concealer, but yes if I have extra time, I do like adding this extra step. I got the shade Dark Peach
6) L'oreal Base Magique Trasnforming Smoothing Primer (available here)
I have been loving this product since 2012. It is by far one of the best drugstore primers out there. My old jar was disgustingly old so I replaced it with a new one. Now, this is a pore filling one. Silicone based. If you have large open pores and oily skin, you will love it. I mainly use it on my T zone and it gives a lovely soft focus blurred out effect! Full review here.
7) Ruby's Organics Blush in Orchid
I have been wanting to give the brand a try for a while now. It is an all natural and organic makeup brand - lipsticks, kohls, base products, blushes, highlighter etc they have them all.
Recently, they came out with 2 new blush shades and Orchid had my name written all over it! It is a mauve-y pink which looks super natural. And you can use the product on your cheeks, lips and eyes! How about that!
8) MAC Face & Body Foundation
For a person who doesn't wear foundation, I managed to get hold of 2 this month! :D
I had tried a sample of Face & Body a few years back and really liked it. So I bought the smaller 50ml bottle. I got matched to C3, which is pretty close to my natural skintone. Though these give sheer light coverage so even if you go a tad bit darker, it wouldn't really show up much.
The texture of this one is so unique. It works in a very different way & might not be liked by all. But it is highly raved about and I know why. I will talk about this soon!
9) MAC Cream Color Base in Hush
Highlighters make me go wear in the knees... okay, who am I kidding...most makeup items do. I have a few powder highlighters in my stash & wanted to try out a cream one. MAC Hush is a much loved one everywhere so got hold of it. I am loving it!
9) Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder (available here)
Wanted to try out a yellow toned powder for undereyes since a while now. Had my eyes on the Ben Nye one, but everyone claimed that is one works just fine too. Considering that this was more affordable, I went for it. (just in case I do not like yellow powders, I wouldn't feel too bad you see).
So far I have used it a few times & it works well. Have any of you tried this before?
10) theBalm Creamy Lip Stain
I am all about a long lasting lip color, but mostly the long lasting ones tend to be matte which can be drying if worn for a long time. When I spotted the creamy lip stains by theBalm, it felt as if they were made for me!
The product is like an extremely pigmented lip gloss, which stays on the lips for a good 3-4 hrs and then wears down leaving a beautiful stain behind. I got 2 neutral shades - Salut & Hello for now, but I cannot wait to try a few brighter shades!
Also, how cute is the packaging?!

11) Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
I have recently started giving setting sprays a try. The only one I have is MAC Fix+ which is good, but it isn't a setting spray in it's traditional sense. The UD All Nighter is much raved about in the makeup world, so I got a smaller size to try.
So that's my mixed makeup haul! I am super excited to these out and share my thoughts with you all.
Any product in particular you want to know about first? Let me know 😊
