Plum Avocado Nourish-up Hair Mask Review

It's been a while since I spoke about haircare here, although if you follow us on Instagram then I shared an awesome compilation post on hair masks a few weeks back, make sure to follow us there!
Anyway, coming back to this post - up today is the Plum Avocado Nourish-up Hair Mask which I have been using for a few months now. Is it good enough for frizzy hair, dry damaged hair, fine hair? Read on to know if it works and which hair types can use it!
Ingredients : Aqua, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Sterate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Propanediol, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Polyquaternium-10, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Fragrance, Sodium Gluconate
Silicone Free, Vegan & Cruelty Free
The mask comes in a white plastic tub, nothing very fancy but it is sturdy. It has a medium cream consistency & a mild pleasant scent. It spreads on damp hair well & I do not need to use a lot to cover my hair strands well.
The brand recommends keeping the mask on for 15-20 minutes. I have to agree with this - I find that it couldn't really do much when I kept it on for a shorter time. 3-5 minutes won't really do much and I strongly recommend you to keep it on for the suggested time period. Which brings me to my main point - make sure you have enough time on hand when you plan on using this mask. I usually try to keep my showers short & quick and this mask is not a good pick for those days.
When I use it for 15- 20 minutes, I find that it makes my hair softer. It also helps in detangling, and reduces frizz to an extent. It rinses off well and does not weigh down my fine hair.
Since this mask is silicone free, it doesn't give the same level of shine & smoothness you get from a mask that has silicones. It is understandable and I don't mind it.

I love that this is easily available and not very expensive. It will work well for normal hair & hair that is moderately dry and frizzy.
