Update 2016 : This is an old review and I do not recommend using walnut or apricot based scrubs anymore.

A bit about my skin type : Oily-Combination, prone to acne, dullness and uneven skintone.

The product comes in a huge squeezy white plastic tube. The tube is HUGE and will last you a long long looooong time!!
There are many variants of the St. Ives scrub in the market. I picked up this one mainly because it contains salicylic acid and is oil free, which makes it more suited for my skin type. The fragrance isn't too strong and I like it.

The scrub does it's job quite well. I use it once a week and it gets rid of the dead skin, buildup and cleans the pores nicely. It also takes care of dry flaky patches and reduces blackheads to an extent, probably because if the salicylic acid.

It leaves the skin feeling cleaner & smoother. It does make my pores look somewhat smaller, but that effect is only temporary

A word of caution though, the granules in the scrub aren't very fine. So, one needs to be very careful and scrub very very gently with it, else it can damage the skin and aggrevate redness & sensitivity. If you have active acne or sensitive irritated skin, then it will be better to stay way from scrubs like this one.

On the plus side, since the granules aren't that fine, I feel it's well suited as a body scrub.

Do I recommed it?

For the body, yes! For the face, not that much.
There are gentler options available if you want to use a scrub.
