Shifting my skincare to dealing with acne, then healing them was not an easy task. I went from having near perfect skin, to volcanoes on both my cheeks, to skin in dire need of recuperation.
As I turned my focus towards healing ingredients, propolis stood out not only because Swati had already been using it and seeing its benefits, but also because it has incredible soothing and wound repairing properties that I truly needed. After a few searches the Cosrx Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner caught my eye.
Because I have dry skin that's also dehydrated, I like to incorporate hydration as layers of toners and essences. It seemed only natural for me to look for either of these while trying to incorporate propolis in my regimen. Swati has the CosRx Propolis Light Ampoule, and now I have the toner to complete the set.

This toner has a watery texture with slight slip to it. It spreads on the skin and I like to gently pat it in. As soon as the toner sinks in, my skin looks and feels supple and has a distinct glow to it. Never before has a toner given me instantly noticeable effects like this one, and now I understand what the fabled 'propolis glow' is.
Too bad I lose most of the glow when I wash my face, but with continued use I can say that my skin looks better, healthier, and is starting to regain the glow it once had (i.e. I can see the healing progress!)

I'm glad I gave this the Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner a try. Apart from the high concentration of the star ingredient, it also contains Panthenol, which we all know and love for its soothing and barrier-supportive properties. Sodium Hyaluronate is always welcome, especially with my dehydrated skin. It helps retain water inside the skin layers making it look plumper and more bouncy. Minimal ingredients also makes me happy because I have lesser chances to trigger an adverse reaction, something that I'm actively trying to avoid in these times.
Plus the fact that it is thankfully non-tacky (propolis / honey products usually tend to be), I can comfortably layer it below my other products in both AM and PM routines. I'll be repurchasing the Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner for sure, and I've made Swati try it out too (she's successfully converted!)
