Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner

A few weeks back a I got the chance to try out a few Some By Mi 30 Days Miracle Toner & the AHA BHA PHA Miracle Cream. Now I already have an exfoliating toner I love, but the beauty enthusiast in me likes to try out different formulas & products and since I am on a Korean skincare journey, these products were perfect to test out!
Let's talk about the AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner today! I've been using it for the past few weeks and these are my initial impressions about it.
What The Brand Says : The Some by Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner is a lightweight, non-sticky formula that keeps skin clear and glowing. This cult-favorite, multifunctional toner helps make your skin clear and bright, while also preventing premature signs of aging. Despite its potent ingredients, the toner is non-comedogenic, dermatologically tested, and suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. Its low pH (5.5) ensures that your skin maintains its optimal pH balance.
AHA, BHA and PHA have different molecular sizes which allow them to work both on the surface and deeper within your skin to clear out dead skin buildup, unclog pores and reduce moisture loss. Witch Hazel extract along with the AHAs found in Papaya fruit extract, increases cell turnover to help reduce hyperpigmentation. It also soothes easily irritated skin with 10,000 ppm of Tea Tree Leaf Water and promotes clear skin. Adenosine and Niacinamide help target fine lines and wrinkles, as well as reduce dullness.
The formula is free of artificial fragrance and colors, parabens, sulfates, alcohol, mineral oil, and silicone.

- AHA: Natural AHAs from Papaya Fruit Extract, help remove dead skin and reduce hyperpigmentation
- BHA: Salicylic Acid helps unclog pores and control sebum production, while also clearing blackheads and whiteheads.
- PHA: Lactobionic acid is a gentle exfoliant that reduces moisture loss and helps clear skin.
- Tea Tree Leaf Extract: 10,000 ppm tea tree leaf extract helps clear acne triggers and soothe the skin.
The toner comes in a green coloured transparent plastic bottle with a screw on cap. The consistency is light & watery. I've shown the texture in this video here. The peppermint oil + tea tree leaf extract in the formula give a slight cooling sensation on application (keep in mind that the both these ingredients could be irritating for some, so make sure to do a patch test).

My Experience : I got a bout of hormonal breakouts right before I started this toner & it is removing the comedones & tiny bumps slowly. I haven't seen a drastic effect on bigger zits yet, but I haven't got any new breakouts in the past 2 weeks either. So I'd say that this is maintaining my skin well so far.

I use my regular BHA exfoliant (this one) once a week or once in 10 days usually, but the Some By MI toner is milder & so I've been using it 2 times a week (at night) without any irritation - do note that my skin is used to acid exfoliants since a few years now. If you are a beginner then incorporate any exfoliant slowly.
Price : 1550 INR for 150ml
I wouldn't say it's a miracle toner & certainly won't recommend using it every day, 1-3 times a week will be more than enough for most. But it is gentle & is a good option for beginners or those who can't tolerate stronger exfoliants. These are my initial thoughts on the toner. I will continue to test it out & update you after a few months.
