Makeup Revolution London All About Cream Blush Palette : Review & Swatches

Written by: Swati on:

I needed some cream blushes to add to my kit, since I have recently started liking them and I spotted the Makeup Revolution All About Cream Blush Palette on Jabong, and what could have been better than 1 cream blush?  A whole palette of 8 cream blushes obviously!! Read on to see the shades :)

The palette comes in their standard matte box and a shiny black case of the palette. It looks and feels sturdy and comes with a huge mirror. No applicator is provided,, but I am not complaining, usually the applicators that come with products are useless anyways.

The palette contains shades of creamy, highly pigmented cream blushes. The texture is super smooth and buttery, they melt easily with a finger swipe and blend well with fingers or a brush.
Since these are amazingly pigmented, it is easy to go overboard with the colors, so you need to build it up little by little. The colors are buildable and you can get the intensity you want.

The colors are a good mix of pinks and corals of different tones which makes the palette suitable for various skin tones. The best part about cream blushes are that they give such a natural look (if blended well) which is why I have been starting to love them a lot now :)

The colors last for around 4 hours on an average and if you top them with a powder blush they can last really long. I wish the colors had some cute names though!

1 - A wram pink with a reddish brick hint. Looks lovely.

2 - A cool toned candy pink, which isn't too flattering on its own on me but I mix it with a warmer shade to make it more wearable.

3 - A soft muted browny pinky shade which is gives a very natural look. Quite like it.

4 - A candy coral pink (little pastel?). Looks pretty for in the daytime, especially in the summer.

5 - A red based pink. Might look too deep in the pan but looks great blended out.

6 - A bubblegummy coll toned pink.

7 - Another cool toned pink with slight lilac undertones. Haven't found it too wearable yet.

(I like to layer 6 and 7 with a more flattering powder blush to make these 2 shades more wearble)

8 - A peach (with some pink tones). Looks lovely again.

Price : 1550  INR (usually available at a good discount on Jabong)

I wished that all the colors in the palette were flattering on Indian skin tones, but that is not the case. Nevertheless, most of the shades are and this palette is quite good.  I love shade 1,3, 5 and 8. 4 and 2 are workable too.
I am slowly becoming a fan of Makeup Revolution. They have some really good stuff (you can find dupes of so many shades and palettes with them) and their products are priced really well.

If you would like to add some cream blushes to your collection, then you can surely check this palette out. (If you have oily skin then I would suggest you to check out their powder blush palettes like Sugar and Spice or All About Pink)
