Cannes Film Festival : Continued

Hello all!
Here's an update on the new appearances at the Cannes Film Festival. Lets see who all got it right and who messed it up shall we?

*Aishwarya Rai Bacchan made heads turn once again.
For the premiere of Blood Ties, she sashayed down the red carpet in a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla floor length anarkali with colourful heavy embroidery. Need we say that she looked gorgeous and is definitely back in shape? The V neckline definitely helps to make her look slimmer. We like the long trail of buttons in the front too, it's another illusion designed to elongate.

For the hair, leaving it open in soft waves worked out nicely with the gown. The makeup is so wearable too. A matte base, black smokey eyes with lots of mascara on both upper and lower lashes, balanced out well with a nude lip colour, some gloss and soft pink blushing cheeks. Do not forget to check out those mint nails and the pretty satin clutch. We like!

Here she's got another hit in an all black outfit. Perfectly fitted trousers, shirt & waist coat that accentuate her curves. The lace detaling at the neck and sleeves look nice. Grabbing all the attention though were those luscious red lips, with complementing shiny red nails.

She wore a black with gold embroidery Sabyasachi lenhenga-sari with a matching hair accessory for the evening gala of Bombay Talkies.

(Seems like everyone is going for a closed neck blouse with long sleeves this time). Anyway, though the sari looks fine, we wouldn't like to wear this look personally. We like those hanging earrings, the makeup and the hair worn up.

Dressed in a black and grey Ellie Saab couture gown at the premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis, she won many hearts (including ours), and looked everybit the international diva. Maybe the hair in an updo would have looked better, but that's just a personal preference.

Again, a good choice of nail colour. The use of dulled gold glitter is a good twist with the smokey eye. The makeup and minimal accessories get our vote. *thumbs up*

Looking fabulous while giving interviews in a well fitted white shirt and mermaid black skirt clinched at the waist.

And here she is in a turquoise blue one shoulder Gucci gown with her hair in a sleek high bun and simple ear studs. A fresh face and bright pink lips added the needed colour but we don't think they go very well with the colour of the gown.

* Vidya Balan looking decent in a floral Sabyasachi sari with embroidered borders, paired with a high neck full sleeved blouse and pearls for the screening of Un Chateau en Italie. We would have liked the sari in a different colour maybe and a different bag.

The make up was fresh and minimal. Soft thin eyeliner, neatly applied kajal and mascara. Just a hint of  peach blush and clear glossy lips. Try it on a summer afternoon.

At the Bombay Talkies gala, she definitely made up for her earlier OTT desi fashion on the red carpet. Look at her, so elegant in her mehendi green and gold Sabyasachi sari. Now this is what classy Indian style looks like! Carrying an embroidered potli and rings finished her look. We loved the huge earrings!

A black smokey eye, black bindi, MLBB pink lip colour with some gloss and an earthy blush. We loved the makeup too!

Here are some more outfits:

*Mallika Sherawat also made her second appearance pretty impressive, walking the red carpet in a black strapless Dolce & Gabbana voluminous lace gown. We surely liked this one so much more than the mustard yellow with the snake in front outfit.

*Sherlyn Chopra at Cannes to promote her upcoming movie Kamasutra 3D, walked the red carpet in a sheer black number that left very little to the imagination. A heavy rajasthani neck piece drew attention to umm.. the wrong places.
