Himalaya Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask : Review

Whipping up a home-made face pack is too much of a task for a lazy-bum like me. No, I'm serious! I actually run away from all wet and gooey pastes that everybody is so fond of applying as a part of their skincare regime! Needless to say, my skin has suffered because of that and now I'm mostly dependent upon tube face packs that do the job for me.
What drew me to this product were the two magic words 'Peel-Off'. You see, my laziness extends to the point where not having to wash a face pack off means bliss :P So after emptying nearly half the tube, I'm ready to share my experience with you all!
Packaging- Pretty standard, highly efficient in dispensing the product. The cap is leak proof, but you can't call it sturdy. It feels quite prone to cracks and breakage though mine has survived so far. (Touch wood!) The tube itself is soft, I don't have to huff and puff to squeeze out the mask. Win!
Texture- Sticky and slightly runny. It spreads easily and very well, so you can easily achieve a thin layer with it. The face mask is greenish in colour, it's not a very appealing shade but I tend to overlook that. It has a mild cucumber smell which is not bothersome.
After emptying half the tube I have learnt that applying too thin a layer makes peeling off a little problematic. So I usually apply it slightly thicker and it takes around 20-25 minutes to dry completely. After that, peeling it off is easy. Kind of like how we used to peel Fevicol off our fingers as kids :D (Faavicol se...faavicol se..okay no, don't sing the song!)

Verdict- Overall, this peel-off mask is a good buy because it improves the tone of my skin and leaves it quite smooth post-application. It doesn't lighten blemishes, neither does it add a lot of glow, but at this price I'm happy with whatever it does.
