Maybelline Color Show, 008 Bold Gold: Review, NOTD

All right folks, here we are with a super festive, super duper affordable nail polish that is perfect to wear to all weddings, and also to jazz up your Christmas manicure!!

A bottle full of golden glory, is it not? See the tiny flecks of shimmer in it, they add amazing dimension to the shade. Bold Gold is much more muted antique golden than Lakme's Color Crush No. 1 which is warmer. It's more of a desi sona kinda gold (LOL!) good to compliment fancy saris, while Bold Gold can work with minimalist Western wear too, for added jazz.


That's the swatch for you below, and the smooth finish plus opacity is clearly visible in them. I never have any hassles while working with Bold Gold, something I often face with other shimmery/metallic polishes. One coat gives you good coverage, two is brilliant! It dries in a short while to this gorgeous metallic foil finish that I just cannot get enough of!
