Faces Canada Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon, Wrapped Up : Review, Swatch and LOTD

Cubby sticks always tempt me. Add a matte effect one and I am sold. Funny how I am so very late in trying the Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon by Faces Canada. Everyone else out there has tried these out and have raved about them.
I was crossing the Faces counter a few weeks back and some of these chubby sticks were kept out on the counter. True to my beauty blogger and makeup lover image, I went and started swatching them. Before I knew it, I fell in love with quite a few of them! Oh Boy!*trouble trouble*
After a lot of thought, I picked Wrapped Up. It was too pretty to let go and I didn't have a similar color in my collection.
Firstly, I like the sleeker stick packaging of this. Sure the cute fat chubby sticks have their own charm, but this being sleeker occupies less space. Plus the matte color coded pencils are easy to spot.
These come with their own sharpner, but I wish Faces made these retractable... I hate sharpening, too much hassle. These come in 2 variations - Pure Matte and some with Shimmer from the Starry matte collection.
The formula of these is highly pigemented and super creamy. It isn't waxy and is very comfortable to wear. It goes on smoothly without any tugging. They do not emphasize fine lines and are not very drying either. However you might feel the need for some lipbalm after 3-4 hours. Being extremely creamy in consistency, these are super soft, so handle it carefully.

Do check these out if you like matte lipsticks. I already have my eyes on a couple of more shades - Peach Me and Midnight Rose, both are equally gorgeous!
