"Vicco Turmeric...Nahi Cosmetic!"
How awesome is that jingle?! If you are a kid from the last decade then you know what I am talking about...if you aren't then you might want to head over to YouTube and look for this one. The way this jingle is still stuck in my head is amazing. I remember every word of it and still fondly hum it some days 😀
Smriti and I do quite a fantastic duet of it, if you'd like to hear it anytime, drop us a comment!
I am sure most of us at some point have used the good old Vicco Turmeric cream. And now Vicco brings to you their Vicco Turmeric Skin Cream In Oil Base to take care of your body and face. It claims to moisturize, nourish and protect the skin and leaves you with even toned beautiful skin. It also prevents and cures skin infections, boils, wounds, and burns.
We have been trying it for the past week and here's what we think! Read on to get the scoop on Vicco Turmeric Skin Cream In Oil Base…
The lotion is available in 3 sizes – a 50g variant that’s perfect to carry in your bag, the 100g one with a flip top cap and a bigger bottle (300g) with a pump dispenser. I have the smallest one at the moment and it is a great size to take on your travels (especially with the current colder weather).
The skin cream in oil base has a good floral-herbal fragrance, very characteristic of the traditional Vicco smell, only milder (It totally brings back fond memories from my childhood when I first discovered Vicco Turmeric on my grandma’s vanity).
The texture is light and not too thick. It absorbs easily and well into the skin leaving no oily residue behind. I love the fact that it is completely vegan and chemical free. As an animal lover, I am thrilled that it was not tested on animals. Yay!
The product feels moisturizing and leaves skin soft. I find the need to reapply it once more these days due to the winter weather, but one application will see you through the other seasons.
Vicco Turmeric Skin Cream In Oil Base comes in three variants – 50gm for RS 40, 100 gm for RS 80 and 300 gm for Rs 215.
Buy it online here.
Overall, this one is a good budget buy, quite affordable for the quality and if you like the original cream then you are sure to like this one too!
