NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Warm Neutrals

I am yet to meet a makeup enthusiast who doesn't like neutral eyeshadows. Sure we all love playing with different colours but a good neutral eyeshadow palette is a must-have in your makeup stash.
Let's take a peek into the NYX Warm Neutrals palette today. I had bought it quite a while back and have been using it consistently. It's probably a bit late to talk about this now, but let's anyway (just in case there are some of you out there who are considering buying it).
NYX offers the Ultimate Shadow Palettes in 4 variations _ Warm Neutrals, Cool Neutrals, Smokey & Brights each with 16 shades - a good mix of matte and satins. There is a palette for everyone.
** If you are looking for only matte shades - Do check out the NYX Lid Lingerie Palette (reviewed HERE) which is another one of our favourites.
The palette comes in sturdy plastic packaging. I like looking at the colours through the transparent lid. The size of the palette is quite compact and hence it is lovely to travel with.
Warm Neutrals has 9 matte shades & 7 satins ( some a bit more shimmery than the others). All the shades have good pigmentation with the darker colours showing up better on medium-dark skin tones (obviously). I generally like packing on the satin shades with my fingers & I use brushes for the matte shades and for blending all the colours.
The texture of the shadows is smooth & soft. They apply easily and blend well. I have not experienced a lot of fall out from these shadows. On my lids, these shadows last 6hr+ easily, without a primer (I do not have very oily lids).
The palette has a good mix of colours :
Lighter shades (1st & 2nd row)
beige (m), champagne (s), pale peachy beige (m), soft gold (s), soft mauve (m), light peachy brown (m), rosy pink (s), medium brown (m)
Darker shades (3rd & 4th row)
coppery gold (s), burgundy brown (m), rosy copper (s), red-toned brown (m), dark bronze-y brown (s), burnt orange-brown (m), medium bronze (s), deep brown with a mauve undertone (m)
The 1st row is my least used (frankly, I could do without the entire row. But I guess these shades makes the palette more usable by lighter skin tones too).
The 3rd & 4th-row colours are my favourites. I also use a lot of the soft mauve from the 2nd row. I do miss having a rich deep dark brown in the palette, but I can work around it.
I can use it to create soft easy day looks which work well for college or in the office. I can add some oomph for parties/evening looks as well. It's versatile. It has neutral colours. I like it a lot.
Price : 1725 INR for 13.28g ( available HERE )
