The Face Shop Calendula Serum & Emulsion

From all The Face Shop skincare products I have tried so far, their Calendula range takes one of my favourite spots! Of course, their Jeju Aloe Gel is also a long time favourite too.
I've been using the Calendula Serum & Emulsion for the past 3 weeks in my morning routine and they have been working quite well.
Both the serum and emulsion have a light floral scent which I like (keep it in mind though, if you are sensitive to fragrance). The formula has calendula extract which is known for its calming & soothing benefits + hyaluronic acid & the range is suitable for all skin types. In addition to the calendula, the formula also has other herb extracts like chamomile, cornflower, rooibos, lily, sage & borage.
The serum & emulsion are wonderfully hydrating, absorb quickly & make the skin look supple & plump. They didn't irritate my skin or break me out. Yay!
Also, can we take a minute to appreciate the beautiful glass bottles? They have a night weight to them and they look & feel premium.

🌼 The serum comes in a pump bottle. It has a light milky texture, provides enough hydration & a touch of moisture to my combination skin. I don't feel the need to layer a separate moisturizer over it, especially in this hot & humid weather (I have combination skin), and I go over it with sunscreen directly. In the winter, I might need to use a moisturizer over it, if my skin is feeling a bit dry.

🌼 The emulsion is a light lotion and offers the same hydrating & soothing benefits with a little more moisture compared to the serum. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy, comes in a generous 150ml quantity & you only need a little for every use. It will serve as a light moisturizer for all skin types, but will especially suit combination to normal skins. Very dry skin will mostly need to use a separate moisturizer over it.
