Kbeauty really shines when it comes to sunscreens. Of course, it shines for almost every other product category too. They just make their formulas so elegant. I love it! So, I've tried a few Korean sunscreens lately and of course, I had to share them with you. Let's begin with one brand today - Isntree.

Did you know that Isntree makes 3 sunscreens? Yes, you heard me right. They make a chemical sunscreen, a physical sunscreen and wait for it... a sunscreen stick! All 3 are fragrance-free, alcohol-free & essential oil-free - isn't that wonderful? I spoke about it a while back on our Instagram (follow us there for regular updates!) I am talking about all 3 in today's post. There's something here for everyone....keep reading!

Easily one of the best textures in a physical/mineral sunscreen ever!
It is not very thick and pasty like most mineral sunscreens. Instead, the consistency is spreadable & creamy. It doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable & doesn't feel very drying either. This takes a couple of minutes to mesh with the skin - it starts out feeling moisturizing & but give it some time (5min or so) and it begins to settle down to a semi-matte finish. It also makes the skin look smoother.
However, it tends to cling to dry patches (if you have any) & emphasize them. I make sure that my skin is well hydrated & moisturized before using this sunscreen. There's a slight white cast, on my skin tone. It's not very noticeable & gives a similar effect to a Korean tone up cream...It almost goes away once I pat it in & give it some time. Make sure to double cleanse if you are using a physical sunscreen...they tend to latch on the skin for their dear life & so it's important to clean it off thoroughly.

It doesn't work too well for reapplication & tends to get patchy. If you need a sunscreen for reapplication then I suggest looking into the one below :)

Who will it work for? This sunscreen will be best suited for combination skin & sensitive skin. Oily skin might be able to use it too, especially as the weather starts getting colder.

2) HYALURONIC ACID AIRY SUN STICK

This is purely chemical sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ with 5 UV filters - Homosalate, Octinoxate, Octyl Salicylate, Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb S

Let's start with how cute the packaging looks, it's small & easy to carry around/travel with. The stick has a drop shape which makes it easy to cover smaller areas - eyes, sides of the nose.
The sunscreen has a balm-y consistency and goes on smoothly on the skin, there's no tugging. It settles down to a neutral finish on the skin. Since this is a chemical sunscreen there is no white cast. While using any sunscreen stick make sure to make multiple passes - this ensures that you get optimal coverage & don't miss out on spots.

While buying and using a sunscreen stick is not necessary and I will certainly not recommend it for everyday use at home since it is on the pricey side and will get over quickly. However, I must admit that the stick is very convenient for reapplication when I am on and about. This will work for all skin types.

The texture of the sunscreen is one of the best I have ever come across. It is extremely elegant. So much so that it feels like using a lotion-y moisturizer.
You know how sunscreens can feel suffocating many times? You do not have to face that unpleasant feeling with this one. On the skin, this feels light, yet hydrating, thanks to the 8 types of Hyaluronic Acid in the formula. It feels like my skin can still breathe through. It leaves a dewy finish on the skin and there is no while cast since this is a purely chemical sunscreen.

Who will it work for? According to me,  this is best suited for normal-dry to very dry skin & combination skin in the winter. It will feel greasy/too dewy on oily skin.
In case you have oily skin and still want to give this a go, I think you might be able to skip a moisturizer with it.
