Day and Night Gloss Look with L'Oreal Paris You Cannes Collection
Written by: Swati on:
A few weeks back L'Oreal Paris had sent me their new "You Cannes" collection and had come up with this fun challenge of creating your own day and night matte/gloss look.
It took me a while to get down to trying out some looks *(I hardly get any off these days)* but I tried some looks a few days back finally. P.S. It was super tough to take selfies that too in the room...so don't judge too much. Okay? :)
Beginning with my Gloss Look today... I am a big fan of neutral shades on the eye and the coral gloss goes perfectly with it! Simply tweak your eyes to take the look from day to night :)
1) Day Gloss Look:
Since, it isn't advisable to go with too much shimmer during the day, stick to a basic neutral eye in brown tones (which compliments Indian skin tones very well).
I smudged a brown eye pencil along my upper lashline (you can use a brown shadow too). Smudge a bit of black gel liner right at the roots to add some depth and definition and make your lashes look thicker.
I skipped mascara for this one, but definitely give your lashes a good curl (and apply a wash of mascara if you feel like).
2) Night Gloss Look:
Night time definitely calls for shimmery eyes! Transform your day look to suit the night by adding some warm pearl finish eyeshadow to your previous eye base. I went with copper bronzy tones.
Add some more gel liner at the base of the lashes. Line your uppper and lower lashline with the black gel liner. Curl your lashes and apply generous coats of mascara. Don't forget to put on blush in a peachy or earthy tones. Highlight the prominent areas on the face (cheeknones, cupids bow, bridge of the nose etc) And you are all set to go! :)
Here's the look :
Products Used:
- L'Oreal Nude Magique Foundation
- L'Oreal Color Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in Coral Encore
- L'Oreal Superliner Gel Intenza in Diamond Black

What do you think of the looks? Will you give it a try?
