Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks - REB01 & REB02 : Review, Swatches, LOTD

These lipsticks have a very smooth, soft texture and feel quite nourishing and comfortable when applied. It gives a balmy glossy finish which is so apt for summers. Pigmentation is a little on the sheer side, but it can be built in a couple of swipes. I get a wear time of 3-4 hours on an average and they leave a soft stain behind (not transfer proof).




I have not faced any feathering/bleeding issues with these yet (I skip lip liner 99% of the times). But if you are someone who is usually prone to lipstick bleeding, then using a liner below might be a good choice, as these lispticks are quite creamy.


REB01 - A bright (apple?) red shade with some fine golden shimmer which is visible only in the bullet. It will suit Indian skin tones quite well and is a perfect shade to wear when you do not want to do much on your face. You know how reds instantly perks up your look yeah?

I loved the texture and finish of these new Rebel lipsticks. They add the color without looking too heavy. REB02 has defintely made into my favourite list and I haven't been able to put this color down for 2 weeks now :D
Sure, the colors in this range aren't very unique and I am sure one can find dupes easily. So definitely check your stash once, before getting a lipstick from this collection. That being said, the sheer formula, finish and the colors are really good for spring-summer, so if you want to add some brights in your collection, give them a swatch at the counter...you just might end up liking them :)
