Finally!! I got my hands on theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer! Sweet bliss...I am now flying high with all the happiness :D
I got this as a gift last month from a friend (*and if you are reading this post, then thank you so much! You are the best!).
I haven't been much into contouring ever, but I do love a good highlight! It is just that little something extra in your makeup that makes such a wonderful difference. Don't you think so too?
theBalm says : Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer, younger while adding a subtle glow.
I love my Revlon Skinlights and I had been wanting to try a powder on for a long time now. Of course, whenever I thought of a powder highlighter, Mary-Lou Manizer was the only one I could think about and dream about. Afterall, everyone raves about it and I wanted to give it a shot too. And this is my rave review...you have been warned! :D
I love the pretty retro packaging a lot! The names are so cheeky and the illustrations are unlinke any other...I love it a lot! It comes in a sleek compact case, with a generously sized mirror. The packaging feels sturdy...but I haven't tested it out in terms of strength..don't expect me to...it's too gorgeous!
The texture is smooth, soft like butter/creamy & extremely pigmented. It glides and blends like a dream. The pan is packed with a whooping 8.5 grams of the product so it will practically last you forever. It is one giant highlighter!
Mary Lou-Manizer is not the subtlest of highlighters but it's not glittery or heavy either. It's a soft, shimmering champagne with subtle gold tones. It is a very pretty shade and will flatter most skin tones. It brings so much light to the face without adding chunky glitter.
You have to use this one with a super light hand with the tiniest amount on a light brush and buff it in a bit. Start slow and build it up if required, one can easily overdo with it.
It can be used everywhere...on the cheeks, eyes, bridge of the nose, on your cupids bow...you name it! This is one of those products that reminded me why I love makeup so much. It has the potential to completely transform the face from blah to wow. It adds such a beautiful glow to the skin.

I was a bit hesistant to get this, but I love it so much now. I use it whenever I am out and it mostly goes everywhere with me! The formula is excellent and the quantity is huge, so you can definitely invest in it. If you are a highlighter lover too, and don't have this one yet, I recommend you to put it on your list now! You will love it! It's like gorgeousness in a pan....Seriously!
