Who doesn't like a bit of hydration? My combination skin, tends to get dehydrated often and any form of hydration is always welcome. Usually one of the top performers in this field is hyaluronic acid - a compound that can bind upto 1000 times its weight in water - so 1g of HA can bind upto 6 litre of water! Isn't that amazing?
I have been testing out the Zilch Insta Bounce Serum for a few weeks & I wanted to share my quick thoughts about it. You can see the product in action on our Instagram page HERE.
The Insta Bounce Serum contains Sodium Hyaluronate, a cousin of the famous HA which works the same as Hyaluronic Acid.

- I like the minimal looking glass bottle with the pump dispenser (there won't be any contamination). Twisting the dispenser locks it. It is safe to travel with.
- I would actually call this is a serum- lotion hybrid. It has a fluid consistency, unlike traditional serums which are usually thin liquids.
- It provides enough hydration & a bit of moisturization too. My combination skin does not need a moisturizer in the summer with this serum. I directly use a hydrating sunscreen on top of it.
- The formula spreads well, gets absorbed quickly & does not feel heavy on my skin. As with most hydrating products, this too makes the skin feel soft & supple. I find 1 pump enough for my face & neck.
- Note worthy ingredients like glycerin, aloe vera extract, sodium hyaluronate, niacinamide & panthenol are in the serum.
- There is added fragrance in the formula - it's not very strong or offensive and gets milder post application. Personally I do not mind lightly fragranced products. But make a note of it of you are sensitive.
- I think it will work for all skin types depending on how you use it. Oily-combination skin can layer it with a light moisturizer & normal-dry skin can use something richer on top. Extremely oily skin might even be able to get away with this alone. It will also help skin which is feeling stretchy & dehydrated.

- I like that the brand doesn't test on animals. However, I am not in favour of the non toxic, no bad stuff marketing.
- Overall it's a decent option to look into if you want to add or if you're skin needs a layer of hydration in your routine.
