L'Occitane Aromachologie Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner

I am on a roll with hair care product reviews aren't I? :D I hope you have read the past 2 posts of Aveda Cherry Almond Range & the L'Oreal Absolute Repair Hair Mask.
Today I am talking about another shampoo + conditioner duo which I finished using many months back but somehow missed featuring them on the blog - the L'Occitane Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner. Let's dive in!
Both products come in plastic bottles with flip top caps with small opening (it's easy to control the amount of product dispensed). I must say that the bottles look quite cute and pleasing on the bathroom shelf, but while it is easy to take out the shampoo in this packaging because it's runny, taking out the conditioner is very cumbersome especially once it is more than half way down.
On the plus side, both the shampoo & the conditioner are available in eco-refills! You can buy the refill pouches once the products get over instead of buying new bottles every time.
Aromachologie Repairing Shampoo
It's a transparent liquid with medium consistency, which lathers well and cleans the scalp & hair effectively. The fragrance is mild, slightly herbal and doesn't linger for a long time post wash. It didn't cause any problems or aggravate hair fall for me. I have used it on well oiled hair and it effectively takes out the oil in 2 washes (I always prefer to do 2 rounds whenever I oil my hair).
The shampoo has Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
Price : 590 INR for 75 ml ; 1850 INR for 300 ml ; 2600 INR for 500 ml ; 2350 INR for 500 ml Eco Refill ( available here )

The conditioner has a medium-thick creme consistency. It spreads on the lengths of the hair easily. Like the shampoo, this has a mild & pleasant fragrance - which stays on for a bit post rinsing, especially if the duo is used together. It leaves the hair smoother, reduces the tangles - making it more manageable. The conditioner has silicone.
Both the shampoo & conditioner worked well on my hair. They did their jobs and did not cause any problems. However, I didn't find these products mind blowing-ly amazing. My hair didn't really feel significantly different - I suspect this is because I don't have very dry or damaged hair to begin with. The effects will probably be appreciated more work on dry, damaged or dull hair.

I enjoyed using them, but at this moment they won't be a repurchase for me. I would perhaps consider using them on & off- say during times when the frequency of heat styling my hair increases...or if they get damaged in any other way.
However, if I am going to spend this amount of money I would prefer going for a silicone free formula instead (which tend to be priced higher anyway). I am going to use silicones on my hair (which I do not mind using), I'd rather pick up a regular conditioner which is usually priced much lower than this. Makes sense, doesn't it?
