While I do not experiment a lot with skincare, I certainly like to try out new hair care products. There are a few staples in my haircare routine, but I like getting new shampoos & conditioners often. It was in this experimental mood that I picked up the Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Hyaluronic Moisture Kick Masque Treatment one day.
Hyaluronic acid treatment for hair? Sounds intriguing, doesn't it? When I think of hyaluronic acid I think of instant hydration! And I could do with some of that for my hair...which is why I picked this hair mask up. Well, this and the fact that I have been using & loving their Moisture Kick Spray conditioner for many months now.
Anyway, let's get right into this post.
What the brand says?
Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hyaluronic Moisture Kick Treatment contains a light emulsion base. Due to the light emulsion base, the moisturising agents penetrate the hair very quickly, intensively hydrating the inner structure. Based on natural Guar kernels, molecules fill gaps in the hair's outer layer, ensuring a supple hair feeling.

The mask comes in a bright blue tub. It has a light-medium texture, strong floral? fragrance and it spreads easily on damp hair.
Do note that this mask is not a silicone-free product. It contains dimethicone. But the good thing is that it is in the middle of the ingredients list & not on the top - so the concentration shouldn't be too much.
I use this mask as a conditioner on the lengths of my hair, but not after every hair wash. More like once in 10-15 days. It makes detangling easy, controls my frizz (I have low frizz hair) and doesn't weigh my hair down. It hasn't been the best hair mask in terms of the smoothness it gives to my hair (maybe because silicone isn't high up in the list...?). I have used other masks before which make hair smoother. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 for smoothness.

It's good overall, does the job...but it didn't wow me and at this price I expected it to perform a little bit better. I would much rather go for the spray conditioner from this range, I like that more & it is priced the same. Or choose other masks which have performed better for me.
