It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Eye Cream

This post had to go up a year back, but I never got around to writing it somehow. Well, here I am today talking about the It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Eye Cream. I used it throughout 2019 and till mid-2020: what can I say....it's a tube that keeps going on & on! :D
When it comes to eye cream, the world is divided into 2 - one that uses them and one that doesn't believe in them. I know that eye creams aren't really necessary to use, but I happen to be in the former team & have always liked using a dedicated under-eye product - ever since I got into skincare anyway. Anyway, here's what I think about it. Read on.
** FYI : Before I begin, I need to let you know that I do not have severe dark circles or a lot of fine lines/wrinkles yet. I do get some darkness under my eyes every now & then but that is mainly because I am not eating or sleeping well. My inner corners have always been a little darker compared to the surrounding area, I guess that's just how my bone structure is. Or because of the fact that I subconsciously rub my eyes when it feels itchy which of course causes friction & tugging which can contribute to some darkening. I am also prone to getting milia on my lower lash line.
** Another disclaimer that I want to put out there is that I do not think that eye creams can completely treat problems like dark circles - which can be due to many factors and require intervention depending on the cause. It is thus important to keep expectations realistic when it comes to eye creams. They aren't magic. Yes, they can help, but only to an extent. I use eye creams mainly as a preventative measure rather than a corrective one.
Okay, now let's get into the review :)
Love the packaging - a sleek squeezy tube with a nozzle opening is great to control the amount you want to dispense.
The eye cream is a light gel-cream formula, glides on the skin well and absorbs quickly. It contains vitamin c derivative & green tea extract that is supposed to brighten & hydrate. I don't know what the ingredients were, since everything on the box & tube was in Korean :( I searched for the ingredients list online but didn't have much luck.
While I didn’t notice the cream brightening the skin it certainly hydrated the skin around my eyes well and kept it supple. And if I keep my eye area well hydrated - whatever fine lines I have, appear minimized.
I am prone to milia around the eyes whenever I use anything too thick under my eyes, milia start to form. So I tend to gravitate towards creams that are gel/water-based and that easily absorbs into the skin without being too thick. And this fit the criteria perfectly.
It comes in a whopping 30ml! Comparatively, most eye creams in the market are usually 10ml-15ml...this is double. And so, even with using it twice a day, every day, this tube lasts long! So much so, that you might end up getting bored and this still won't get over.
Price : 950 INR for 30 ml
Will I repurchase it? Yes. I like using formulas like this which are light yet hydrating. And considering that the tube lasted a year for me, I feel that it was worth the price. I am trying out another eye cream currently (THIS ONE HERE) but I will certainly repurchase this sometime in the future whenever I am on a tighter budget. If you are on the lookout for something that will brighten & work on dark circles, it might be better to choose a more potent formula as I don't think this will help a lot. But as far as hydration & lightweight formula goes, this is pretty good.

Swati
