Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion : Review

I know winters are saying hello when my skin starts becoming dry and feel stretchy. So while running about in college, I needed an effective body lotion that I could carry in my bag all day long and this Dove one caught my fancy. Lets see how it fared.
The lotion comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle with a flip top cap. Simple and travel friendly. The small bottle is sleek enough to keep in my bag. The sweet caramel-cocoa-toffee fragrance is something that you will notice at once! Smells yummy! It stays for 1 hour approx (however it turns slightly synthetic after about 1 minute of application if you really sniff hard, which turns back to normal after 5 mintues again...*weird*).
The lotion is neither too thick nor runny (I know this sounds confusing). The texture is good and slathering it on is easy. It spreads well, gets absorbed into the skin quickly and is non greasy. It does make the skin feel nourished after application. One application will not last the whole day however, I would say you are good for around 4 to 5 hours depending on your skin type and the surrounding environment, after which you would need to reapply. (In an AC environment or if you are out on a cold windy day then this would last for about 3 hours). I'd say this is an okay for normal to mildly dry skin.
What I like:
- Affordable.
- Yummy fragrance.
- Absorbs easily.
- Travel friendly
- Non greasy.
What I do not like:
- The synthetic smell that I get after a few minutes (though that gets back to normal)
- Does not last for a long time (to be fair this os for normal skin and I have dry skin).
- It is a bit difficult to get the lotion out of the bottle...I have no idea why.
