Hello! I got a new compact powder after quite a while. It's the Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder .... Phew! That is quite a long name for one product!
But, if the product is mind-blowingly fabulous, I really will not complain about how long the name is. They can add 10 more words in there, for all I care!
Blame all the Youtube watching, but ever since Charlotte Tilbury came out with her makeup line, I had been dying to try them out. The only sad part - not available in India plus the hefty price tag 😟 But luckily my sister Smriti is amazing and gifted this to me (yay! for awesome little sisters!).
In a nutshell - I am in love with this!
The compact comes in shiny rose gold packaging. Though for what it is originally priced at, I wish it had a velvet pouch (like Chanel and Burberry Makeup) and I wish the packaging was more weighty...you know a more luxe feeling? This is just rose gold plastic, which attracts fingerprints like crazy - One downside for me with this along with the fact that I wish more shades were available.
This is one of the most finely milled powders ever! Ever! It is incredibly soft and blends in like a dream giving a soft airbrushed result. A light dusting of this is all it takes to get a soft matte finish.
The powder never looks too matte, just the natural velvety look. You can get really close up to a mirror and you still won't see any powdery texture.
You can touch up throughout the day with this one and it will not end up looking cakey or feeling heavy! You just get a bright polished look every time.
If you have very oily skin, this will not control the oil for too long (you can always re-apply though). And if you want a completely matte look and long oil control power, you might want to skip this one.
But if you are on the lookout for compact powder which gives you a natural finish, does not look cakey no matter what and blends in seamlessly like a dream giving you a soft-focus effect...this one is perfect.
