Hooked Onto : July 2017

July was a super hectic month for me. If you have been following us here or on Instagram you would know that I had exams and it was one of the toughest things I have ever had to do. 

Since I was quite busy with the exams I did not have the time to try out many new things. I have combined some of my June favourites with a few of the things I liked in July as well into one post Take a look :)

1) Skincare

I was badly breaking out with all the exam stress and 2 products were such a life saviour - Kama Ayurveda Nimrah Anti Acne Face Pack and the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. These 2 need a dedicated blog post to themselves (yes, that's how good they are!). For now let me just say that if you have acne prone skin and breakouts, you will love these too! 

I also quite liked using the Satliva Hemp Lip Butter. (more about their products here). Over the past few months, I have graviated more towards organic nontinted lip balms and have been loving them like crazy. 

A few others that I liked before this one were the Kama ayurveda rose lip balm and the Matra Lip Balms. 

I finished this Satliva one and have now picked up a Forest Essentials one to try next :)

2) Makeup

The Charlotte Tilbury Micro Powder is a gem that has blown my mind away and compact powders will never be the same after using this one! It is the finest milled powder ever and it gives such a smooth natural satiny finish (not cakey at all). Love! Full review here. 

I have also been loving nude lip colors so much again! I have always loved them, but these days nudes are all that I am reaching out for. Every single time. 

The Lakme Lip Love lipsticks  have been dug out again - Aphrodite Blush ( a peachy brown nude) and Rose Kissed ( a rosy pinky nude) have been my most reached out to lipsticks. I freaking love these two colors! 

I also got my hands on the Lakme 9-5 Lip and Cheek Mousse and they are pretty amazing too - Coffee Lite (reviewed here) has been used a lot! Blush Velvet was purchased more recently :) 

3) Munchies

The exam month was pretty much survived on Chocos, Milk, Bread & Eggs! Seriously! I also gobbled up a lot of 5 stars surprisingly! Of course you cannot get through exams without Coffee and the one I always reach out for is the one by Beanstalk and Leaves (you can get your hands on their blends here). 

But I occasionally indulged in Paneer Sirca Pyaaz from the Bombay Brasserie...which is deliciously yum! If you are in Bangalore and like Indian food you must go here! Must! 

4) Lifestyle and Others

Found this adorable set of pins on Koovs and gave in to temptation! These are so handy to quirk up your denims, jackets and bags! I cannot wait to get my hands on some more of them!
