Avon Jet Femme Holiday Eau De Toilette : Review
Written by: Swati on:
Last summer I was on the lookout for an aquatic fragrance and happened to look through an Avon brochure. Like with all Avon and Oriflame perfumes, I bought this blindly...it sounded nice.
And like with most of the blind buys I was left disappointed with this one too.
It does have aquatic notes mixed with some woody and citrus-y ones as well. It can be worn easily everyday and especially during the summer months. but it lasts for 2-3 hours max on me. All in all, I would call this a moderate fragrance.
The top notes are that of tropical fruits, grapefruit, guava and watermelon. These then transition into a more floral blend of hibiscus, iris and jasmine, against which slight peppery notes are contrasted. The perfume settles down to a woody base, in which amber and musk also lend warmth.
I had bought another Avon perfume with this one, Little White Dress and did not enjoy wearing that either. I guess I am done with brochure shopping atleast in the perfume department forever.
If you do like exotic fruity-floral fragrances, and if Avon perfumes have worked well for you in the past, you could this a try.
