12 Things Only Epilator Users Will Know

When it comes to hair removal, there are only 2 ways I go to now - Shave or Epilate. I love both the methods equally. I have already discussed shaving in detail on the blog previously. When it comes to epilators, it does not get better than Braun. I have been using my trusty Braun 5280 (will feature it soon...promise!) for over 3 years now and it is still going strong. I have successfully converted many others around me to epilation too! :D

Braun lets you in on the secret  things only seasoned epilator  users know…

We dare you to make the switch and see for yourself. Warning,  side effects  include  experiencing non-stop beautifully smooth, silky skin that you wont be able to keep your hands off!

Axe Signature Gold EDTs : First Impressions

By Ashish Gyan

Circa 2000, it was the start of a new millennium, for those of you who were in your early teens or on the doorsteps of the teen years at that point in time, you will remember grappling with all things pertaining to puberty and one of them was body odour. With all the mad running around and constant flurry of activity that was our daily lives back then, it was commonplace to have your body odour precede your entry to any room and leave a lingering aroma, to be polite, long after you had left the room.

Talcum powders, with all sorts of formulations weren’t doing the trick, but were the only recourse back then. There were a couple of roll-ons but they had a placebo effect at best.

Then appeared a Messiah on the horizon, which was to change the landscape of Indian Men’s grooming forever. The advent of Axe perfumed deodorants was in many ways a game changer. With their snazzy marketing ploy and, with the luxury of hindsight, fragrances which proved quite effective in combating body odour, they were successful in capturing the imagination of the previously un-catered to segment of Indian Men.

Colorbar Matte Nail Lacquer, Blackness : Review and NOTD

So few weeks back Shayoni from Sweet and Bitter Blog had recommended this one on her blog and after seeing her swatches, it was all I could think about :D
I searched for it everywhere, travelled far and wide, but alas! It was out of stock everywhere! I finally managed to get hold of it last week at the nearby mall. Phew!
If you would have told me a few months back that I would someday be seen sporting a black nailpolish, I would have laughed in your face. And now, here I am, the proud owner of the Colorbar Blackness, and I cannot wait to wear it!

Jovees Foot Cream & Scrub : Review

With winter now, I get more inclined to use cream based products. I gave my trusted Scholl Rough Skin Remover a rest and picked up the Joves Foot Cream & Scrub. This is the first time I have tried anything from Jovees, and most probably I wouldn't have looked into this brand, but the Cream+Scrub got me really intrigued. Read on!

The Body Shop Lip Scuff : Review

Winter is just lovely! But it sure does bring with itself a few problems, one of them including dry lips. And with the matte lip trend going around, dry lips are just around the corner all the time. So, when TBS was having a 30% off on their site, I decided to get a few of my all time favourites and then came across the Lip Scuff. Since I had never tried a proper lip scrub before (I usually stick to diy kinds. Check our recipe here) I thought why not! Read on!

Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask : First Impressions

Innisfree recently launched on Nykaa, and we couldn't be more exicted! They have a store in Delhi, but unfortunately they haven't opened up in other cities yet which made their products pretty much inaccessible. Now that this issue has been solved, we finally tried out some products from the brand and will be reviewing them soon. Up today is the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask.

Banjara’s Skin Positive Beauty Cream and Body Lotion : First Impressions

Hello everyone! So we received a few products from Banjaras a while back, and I have been trying them out for the past few days.

"Banjara’s was launched in 1993 with line of products that are predominantly herbal powders. The aim was to provide quality herbal powders for beauty care in a largely unorganised category.Today Banjara’s has grown from having 6 products at its inception to about 60 products across 12 product categories. Banjara’s is now a well-known brand and its products are available across all the south Indian markets as well as several e-retailers and beauty parlors."

Read on to know my first impressions :)

Faces Canada Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon, Wrapped Up : Review, Swatch and LOTD

Cubby sticks always tempt me. Add a matte effect one and I am sold. Funny how I am so very late in trying the Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon by Faces Canada. Everyone else out there has tried these out and have raved about them.

I was crossing the Faces counter a few weeks back and some of these chubby sticks were kept out on the counter. True to my beauty blogger and makeup lover image, I went and started swatching them. Before I knew it, I fell in love with quite a few of them! Oh Boy!*trouble trouble*
After a lot of thought, I picked Wrapped Up. It was too pretty to let go and I didn't have a similar color in my collection.

L'Oreal Professionnel Liss Unlimited Smoothing Masque : Review

Story of my life? Bad hair days.

I have hair that I simply cannot manage! It's wavy and frizzy, it has cow-licks, it has a widow's peak, it's now extremely dry at the ends, it's falling shedding like fur all over the place... I can keep on ranting about it.

It's tough to maintain good hair health with a lack of proper nutrition. That's principally why nearly every hostel resident will complain of hair fall and a lack lustre mane. The difference between skin and hair is that while skin is living, and you can boost it with external TLC, hair is dead, and 90% of your damage control efforts will prove futile, or if not, just temporary. Since the formed hair is already weak, there's little that can be done to repair it.

Nevertheless, caring for your tresses is vital, as it gives it some protection against the harsh environment! When I saw this hair mask which proudly declared 'For Rebellious Hair,' I knew I had to give it a try, with a small hope that it tames my hair too!

Hooked Onto : November Edit

I love doing the "Hooked Onto" posts and many of you have told me that you love reading them. So, here's another one. Henceforth though, I will be naming them according to the month. The numbers were making a bit difficult for me to keep a track :D
Anyway, here you go lovelies!
