Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Micro-Emulsion Review

We always dream/wish/hope for smoother better radiant skin. Always. The consistent, never ending product launches are a proof of that. Every other day there is some new cream in the market claiming to make some phenomenal changes....make you all glow-y and radiant and fair (shame on the fairness tag!) etc. etc. More than half of these don’t even do one-fourth of what they claim to. *tch!* But sometimes, just sometimes, if you are lucky, you chance upon a product that slowly makes you fall in love with it.
I should stop, I am so making it sound like some fairytale...   :D

So, Lotus Whiteglow Skin Whitening and Brightening Micro-Emulsion. This was bought because the required amount for COD from a particular site was not enough :P And we thought why not put in this for mom? Let us make her try a micro emulsion (no idea what it is though). We didn't have a lot of hopes from this one...but it so did surprise us!! (Next time, never judge a product without trying).

The packaging: I won't say much since you can see it in the photos here.. Heavy frosted glass bottle (smaller than the size of my palm), silver plastic cap and a pump dispenser (not very travel friendly because of the glass, but it makes the bottle look pretty on your dresser).

Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Micro-Emulsion Ingredients

Consistency: White, something in between a cream and a lotion, non greasy, mainly water based, extremely light. It disappears into your skin in just a couple of  minutes. Mildly fragranced (all the products from the whiteglow range smell the same).

Fisrt of all, we LOVE this emulsion! Mom started using it and after the first use there wasn't any visible difference, but after day 4 or 5, her skin was so so smooth and radiant, with the pores almost gone! We were totally amazed by her glowing healthy almost perfect skin! I haven't seen many products make such a good difference (It faired so much better on her than those anti ageing creams and serums!)
Now, how could I resist myself from using this after seeing the effects?! (that's the best part, order something for mom and borrow it whenever if you like it too.. hehehe).
I have an oily skin and Smriti and mom have dry, but it fared great on both the skin types. No breakouts, no dry patches. It is quite light weight which works well with the humid weather here. Extremely dry skinned women in the not so humid days would need a cream over this.
We use it once a day (although it is supposed to be used twice). It does not whiten your skin (Thank God! I hate the fairness claims produts have! Why are Indians so fixated with being fair?), but it surely brightens and improves the texture of your dull exhausted skin. It is not a magic I-will-make-you-flawless-and-the fairest of all-like Snow White- beauty potion... but it does make the skin radiant, smooth, reduces dark spots and slight pigmentation with regular use. And it has spf 25/PA+++.
I do not have any complaints about this product except perhaps that it has parabens

Price: 245/- for 40ml

Would I repurchase it?
Ahaan! Ofcourse. For the visible glow and texture improvement it does. It is a late discovery but I love it :)
