Maybelline Colorama Sexy : Review

I know, the Color Show nail polishes are such a craze right now. We love them too! But let us not forget the good old Colorama range too. It has some very tempting shades as well and today I am sharing one such amazing shade. Maybelline Colorama in Sexy is such a favourite. We have to have a bottle all year round. And there is always a backup lying around too!

This shade is a must have for us. I love it, Smriti loves it (she was the one who got it first!) and mom loves it too. No wonder we are down 3 bottles already! You should try it out :)

Maybelline named this one so right. Sexy is a gorgeous bright hot pink. Super pretty, super flattering on all skin tones! It looks good on the hands, it looks great on your toes as well. No wonder we are on our 3rd bottle now! Love it!
The formula is quite good and one thick coat is enough for an opaque finish and true colour. It is a solid colour, no shimmer, no glitter and gives a creamy finish. It lasts around 2-3 days on my hands (depending on the amount of work I do). And it dries fairly fast too, since you are spared a 2nd coat. Another thing I have noticed is that this does not get thick as fast as the other polishes. The consistency remains great for a long time (Unlike Coral Chic which dried up really quick in the bottle!).
Lotus Herbals Color Dew Nail Enamel in Pure Plum is a similar colour, with a plummy undertone and not as bright as Sexy.
